[Resolved]Help With Startup [RMXP]

Everytime I open RMXP I get an error message that says "Failed to obtain trial serial number from nTitles server", I have a full version serial but I can' even open the program to input it, what should I do?


I know this sounds like a really noobish question but this is my first time ever using a program like this and I would really like to be able to actually use it.


*note = I am using windows Vista, so I don't know if that is the root of the problem or not.

right click where the icon is and click run as administrator

There's a Vista thread here somewhere with a few things you can try.  You can set properties on the exe to always run as administrator, and you can set it to run in XP Compatibility mode.  Once I did those (I'm not sure I had to do both) I never had a problem.

I've never had to do anything, and I never had a problem. Try to run as administrator.
