i'm getting along in a new game and I realized that i start with 4 characters.  i only want to start with one....what should I do?

Go to the database. Go to the system tab and there should be a place where
you can change your starting party members.
DEATH: Master of Time, your life is at it's end! Mwahahahaha!
MOT: Whatever, dude *throws crumpled piece of paper at Death and runs away*
DEATH:....?
