Chnaging the Icon (RPG Maker XP)

how do you chnage the icon that shows up as the .EXE file and up in the coner of the window when your running the game in window mode, i don't know if you chnage something in the game folder, use some events or mess with the script i would look at the script and fiddle with if but knowing my luck i would proboly get it to work but screw up the program, can someone help me

Well, Blizzard's game "Chaos Project" has this. I suppose you could rip off the external coding (something in notepad) and replace the directory of his icon to yours so yeah. I think...

you need an icon editor that can get the icons out of an exe... get the icons (theres 8 icons in a single file) out of the game.exe, modify them, then use resource hacker to put them back in... worked for me

See I wanted to do the same thing.
I got something called "ResHacker" I believe, but it wouldn't let me put in a new icon...?

i used the one you got.... its easy, just open up the game.exe with it, extract the icons, edit them in photoshop with an icon editing plugin (convert them to rgb mode if needed, doesnt do anything), then use something like iconforge to compile them into a single icon, then import that as the icongroup...

Ah, that's what I did wrong.
I just went to MSpaint and saved it as a .ico.
