The Saw movies aren't scary. Gore is not scary. A good scary movie knows how to build up suspense, something nearly all "scary" movies lack today.

Not scary as in horror, its just the concept thats kinda gruesome, but then again it also depends if your desensititved or not.

I've honestly never seen a "scary" movie that actually scared me. They tend to make me point out things that wouldn't actually happen.
