For me, I don't watch many movies, but I'd say the best one I have seen this year so far is Pirates 3.  That movie is completely awesome.  Especially when the midget comes out with a grenade launcher...that part killed our group with laughter.  And Jack's mutliple personalities and his reaction to the crabs...that was classic.

I also enjoyed Spiderman 3, the effects were excellent.

The Patriot was alright...I'm not one for serious mutilations and such (like the cannonball to the head, legs getting knocked off, etc)...Braveheart was pretty good, I liked it better than Patriot.  I don't remember as much of it though.

call me a freak or a wimp but no matter how much I watch that kind of stuff I always shiver at the sight of blood/guts.  Even watching CSI on tv hasn't helped, with all those organs and cut-up autopsies and such...

oh well..to each his own as they say...if the military drafts me they'll wish they never had cuz I'd be useless in a combat situation. 


I wanna watch Return of the King again...I only saw it once, in theaters...and on the gore topic, I can handle LOTR.

Blasphemy. Fight Club is one of the best stories about revolution and how it can spiral out of control. American Beauty is the definitive movie about how people are too obsessed with material life and are oblivious to any other perspective but their own.

Dark Knight is definitely the best movie I've seen in a while.

Dark Knight is really good. Much better than Batman Begins, which is incredibly overrated.

For someone who doesn't go to the theaters that often, it was nice seeing Dark Knight. Finally, a movie that justifies me spending $8/ticket and then another $10 for a small popcorn and medium soda...
