I bought RPG Maker XP yesterday.

and it won't let me test play.

and when i use PK i have a problem with the text.


is there anyway to fix either of these problems???

When you can't test play, does some message appear, with alot of ??
The the problem is with the scripts.

If you're new, check out the Tutorial Database.

The font, on the Script Editor is a script "Main"
Just above the term "Graphics.freeze"
Insert / type Font.default_name = "Tahoma "

You can change the font also.

Take my advice and forget about the original RMXP
as for the PK thingy, I have that problem as well, just do what Leventhan said
and since you mentioned it, does anyone know how can I make RMXP automatically use RGSS102E.dll instead of 100J ?
