I can't Equip Items

I made four new items, and made a shop that the player can purchase the itmes from, but after I have purchased them, I can't equip them. I made sure that the player's class can equip the weapons, and it still wonm't work. Please help!

Can your player equip other items you've made?

Are you SURE you've selected the right options for the items?

Instead of having the classes be able to equip them have the individual characters (assuming this is 2k3).
