[RESOLVED] A few Questions

Well I'm pretty new to RPG Maker 2003 and I've only gotten so far, but is it possible to have an item in your inventory be shown on the full screen, like a map pop up when you select it? I know its probably been done befor but I'm new to this site too...

Also, is it possible to make an event where like after you get so far in the game that if you press the A button you will jump ahead 2 spaces unless you can't do it?

For the first one, you make your item non-consumable. Then you make it work on a common event that will do the "Show Picture" event and do a bunch of stuff.
