PLEASE HELP ME!

I am working with RPG 2003. And i have been working on this game for 5 months now. But one day. (Which was yesturday) I went to work on the game more. But instead this weird message pops up,

Assertion faliure (D:\ha\02rpg2000\2003\RPT_RT\GR_chipSer.pas, 488 Line)

And after i exit it out. I cant use my chipsets. Or the tool bar. I can only view my maps (Which sometimes make the message appear again when i switch maps). And use the help icon.

WHATS WRONG WITH MY GAME!? The odd thing is. All the other games i was working on still work. and this game isnt working! How do i fix this! I dont want to delete 5 months worth of work! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me! Please help me fix the problem!

What have you recently changed in the game?  I'd do what MA said, hope it all works out.
