Need better haircut for my sprite

Any spriter masters out there want to help me give Kagome her proper hair!?

I'm a beginner spriter and hair is my biggest problem.....Just the one sprite though, and then I'll use your style as reference to finish it on my own.....

How about that?  I tried my best.  I think it looks better that the other one but I'm not sure it's the best.  It's okay though.

Looks nice! It'd look nicer if you made some hair show in the back and you made it the same color as the first set so that you could see the difference.

ripped the hairstyle off of a sprite I had lying around
didn't create it however
