Starting game with items??

Quick question about this??

Ok, I want to have my main character start the game with a weapon and armor in the inventory, but not yet equipped, how do I do this??

Same thing with items, if I wanted my main character to have items in his inventory how do I make it that way??

Auto run at eginning of the game that adds items.
