people uses pj64k mostly. its true. but people(like 1/10 or about) are still using mupen. why? it runs games that pj64 can hardly run. like Goldeneye for an example. you won't ever see people with PJ64 running goldeneye. that's why they use mupen to play online. Some says mupen makes it smoother. to be honnest i rather be with pj64 but if someone wants to play me using mupen i'll just switch to mupen there's no big differences to me. i rather p2p on mupen though, I don't know why loL!

first of all. there was a demo of smashbros at LA oct. 28th. gimpyfish,one of the best smash players(best bowser in the world) went there, as other smashers.
he wrote a huge-ass thread on what brawl looks like.

1st point:

proof whatsoever, they all played Mario. his recovery improved greatly,way easier to combo.

DI = Directional Influence. also known as ''the combo breaker'' which allows you to get out of a combo/hit when you press any direction at the same time as you get it.

I've been playing since the first Super Smash bros was released on the N64, I'm not a "smash noob" at all. I'm unaware of what those abbreviations stand for. I'm assuming most people are also unaware of what "DI" "DJC" stand for. You can't learn those abbreviations from playing Smash Bros, and you can't expect everyone to know what they mean, so don't expect no one to ask what in the hell you're trying to say.

What someone claims to have played in demo created three and a half months before release is not official proof. The product was not final, and there is no proof that this guy was telling the truth. I could create a thread saying I played brawl as master chief against Sakurai, but that isn't any better proof than "Pimpyfish's" thread.

Why not just say "double jump cancel" rather than throwing out an abbreviation you can't learn from the game?

2nd, there was more than 1 player. i don't think (assuming) 100 players that played it, would tell each others ''hey guys, let's all lie to the whole smash community. let gimpyfish be the leader'' and once they saw the thread they're like ignoring it.
he's known not only for beeing good, but for beeing nice.
so for now:

mario = top tier stuff
DI(ok sorry..DIRECTIONAL INFLUENCE) = none
DJC(Double Jump Cancel) = none
Wavedash = none, but possible.
L cancell = yes and no. it's the L cancell(Z cancell) from SSB, not ssbm

again, that's -SO FAR-. They(Sakurai and his team) might change stuff till then... although it's gonna be released soon.
