I'm pretty sure they show nook in the back ground, so I doubt he'd be a playable character.

lol, I remember fucking with that guy on Animal Crossing.
He'd yell at you for not saving your game.
And then threaten to delete it, if continued to turn off the console without saving.
Then I kept on turning if off to see if he'd pull through with his threat, I nearly broke somethin'.

Tom Nook can be removed from the background with a simple line of code. Nook is being used > Take out Nook from the background. Seems like something simple. Also, there is a Nook in every town. Does that not mean one of the Nooks could visit that town? And he wasn't shown in the background during gameplay. XD

man I need to get more informed on other games...i have no clue who Lucas is but I hope he's not a Ness clone like the C.Falcon-Ganondorf mix.  For that matter I hope there are no clones.  Someone said earlier that there wouldn't be any?  I've looked around but can't find anything about that....

I'm finding it hard to be enthusiastic about this game knowing that I can't get it til I get a car...   I can't wait til it comes out but...
