noob help

hey i have only just started using rpg maker and was wondering well i have already made it so the character can have there name changed at the begginning but it just keeps looping it and wont exit name screen.

Sorry if i have confused anyone lol and i didnt know where to put it so well i put it here

try adding an End Event after the Name Change event

thanks for the quick reply but that didnt work either it is on the auto start option and is called enter hero name . more help would be appreciated

I would recommend to change it to Parallel Process then after it's done put a Local switch on. then make a new page and add a precondition of the local switch you put on

It it works like you want it to work to start with (Like before it loop) you shouldn't change it to Parallel Process.
You just need to use switches.
If the event is in a map you can't come back to you can just use an erase event.
The event WILL appear if you are able to get back to the map later.
