Help! Character walking left after i press test

Well, see the subject ^^ When i create a game and test it, my character starts walking left and i cant do anything. And when im on menus i can move only down. Heres a video if you didnt understand:

Please help me, i really want to create own games
Oh, and the same thing is happening on RPG Maker 2003.

I had the same thing happen to me. The only way i could fix it was to restart the pc. If you have not tried give it a whirl. That is the only way i could fix it. As a matter a fact, it happened on two of my computers.

I don't know if anyone knows the cause of it, but it shouldn't happen all the time.

This might not have anything to do with it but, what kind of computer, and how much RAM do you have?

AMD Athalon 3000+ XP, Ati Radeon 9550, 512 mb RAM

I have no idea. It only did it on my old pc. It had 256mb RAM.

I had the same problem at first but for me my character would go up and to the left the only thing that fixed it is when i replaced my keyboard. I would try a different keyboard and see if that fixes it.

Tried differend keyboard and not working... any more ideas what to do?

maybe try reinstalling? I don't know what causes the problem, but it sounds like it is a problem with RMXP and not your system.

I tried that once. And i ahve the same problem with RPG Maker 2003

It's most likely the keyboard connection slot. Sadly this is connected to your computers mother board, and if the computers on the older end of the market it could be close to impossible to replace. If the parts for your model are still being made on the other hand you should be able to order a new one. Just bring it down to a place that deals with that brand and get them to check it out.

I'm having the same problem. It's weird because I've used this keyboard before (on a different motherboard though). So here is where things start getting strange. This is a USB keyboard that I have the problem on (and I have the problem on every USB port). Now if I unplug the keyboard and put in a different keyboard with the other connection type, it works just fine. If I start the test play with that keyboard in, and then plug in my usb keyboard, THE USB KEYBOARD WORKS!. But then if I quit the test play and try it again, it screws up like it used to. This is some weird ****.
