Intentional misspelling? If so, that was highly clever.

Such a cool jam. The choir singing makes this song just more awesome.

Different for Beck

Have you even listened to Mutations and Sea Change?

I'm glad he's made a return to this style. I heard that "Timbomb" single he did years ago, and was incredibly worried that the new album would completely suck. I love Midnight Vultures and all the wacky stuff as much as everyone else, but his slow, more serious music speaks so much more to me.

I guess I haven't really listened to a lot of Beck's discography. Odelay is an awesome album, but I haven't branched out much from it, other than one or two others.

I love this band so much, Karen O has a unique sound to her voice. This jam is easily my favorite.

I like Karen O most of the time, but other times it's like "okay, we get it, it sounds like you're having an orgasm."

Their first album, Fever to Tell, sounds like it could have been recorded in her bedroom rather than a studio most of the time.

Although on Show Your Bones, she sounded to me as though she was a children's artist. Not that she does a bad job; her performance on the Where the Wild Things Are Soundtrack was decent.

AAHH Juno reactor! Man!!! Fucking MORTAL KOMBAT soundtrack! AHHH!!

Apparently, based on the video I just watched/listened to, I should legitimately check those guys out now. That is some SOLID sound design. Everything is just so up front. So CRISP. Sound design is awesome. Wish I had a better grasp on it.

*disclaimer: a bit tipsy. bear with me*

(maybe it's so much more awesome because I'm drunk. I fucking LOVE slow jam, dark, seedy, middle-eastern drug lair MASSIVE ATTACK shit when I'm drunk)
