I'm glad he's made a return to this style. I heard that "Timbomb" single he did years ago, and was incredibly worried that the new album would completely suck. I love Midnight Vultures and all the wacky stuff as much as everyone else, but his slow, more serious music speaks so much more to me.

I guess I haven't really listened to a lot of Beck's discography. Odelay is an awesome album, but I haven't branched out much from it, other than one or two others.

such a great cover. Nirvana gets a lot of shit for being the 90's grunge anthem of life kurt cobain 4 evaaa but they could put out some great music.

I like Karen O most of the time, but other times it's like "okay, we get it, it sounds like you're having an orgasm."

Their first album, Fever to Tell, sounds like it could have been recorded in her bedroom rather than a studio most of the time.

Apparently, based on the video I just watched/listened to, I should legitimately check those guys out now. That is some SOLID sound design. Everything is just so up front. So CRISP. Sound design is awesome. Wish I had a better grasp on it.
