Günter Wand Eroica Symphony No.3 Beethoven

My friend keeps making me listen to all her favorite songs. Though its not a bad thing to me, its just hard listening to playlists of over 150 songs! Though it especially okay if she sends me music like this, since I'm into it. I really like her collection of Romantic music. She has a list of Beethoven's work I've never seen before!
Winter is Coming

I'm listening to the new Linkin Park album: Living Things. Specifically Track 6: Castle of Glass.

I usually don't like Linkin Park's newer sound, but I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this album.

I like Bernstein's recording better
But Eroica is my favourite of his symphonies
The first movement is one of my favourite pieces of classical music

Ya I agree I don't like their new sound that much either, but I love lost in the echos. I also like some of the rap that they did in this one.

Currently listening to the Nier Soundtrack. Love the music in Nier. Love Nier in general actually...
That's beside the point.

I won't reply, unless the question or statement isn't idiodic or cruel.

I was wondering why it sounded so much like Arctic Monkeys. Then I realized that it's the dude from Arctic Monkeys. Sweet.

Moss.

Yeah, too bad it's from 2008 and there hasn't been a second album since.

BUT. New Coheed album drops today!

Also, oddly enough, a new Everclear album came out very recently. I'm checking it out today.

Vivaldi ~ Four Seasons, which seems to be the best music to do Math homework . . .

Confirming amazingness of new Coheed & Cambria album. It's just the right about of artsy avant-garde-y creative-ness and shear rocking your face off-ness.

New Everclear is okay. I'd give it a B+

Coheed gets worse with every album they put out, but this one is marginally alright.

So you're not a fan of the band, but you kind of like this album.

I loved the first two. The third album was still good, but not as good. The one after that was less good, and the fifth was even less good. This one is more gooder than the last ones, but still not as good as the first three. I've hung out with Coheed, and my old band almost got signed to their original record label. I just don't really like their newer stuff. I think it has to do with them taking the original awesome storyline and fucking that up with all the "writer" BS. Also, their music became so much more formulaic in the third album, and they stuck with that on every release afterward.

Yeah, the writer thing was weird, but I believe two tracks from that album are actually my all-time favorites. Ten Speed ("believe it, you'll leave her"), and the other one that's really catchy ("tonight I'm burning star IV"). Those two choruses just kind of pop in to my head at random times, they're so damn catchy.

Kind of like how to the slower, low melody thing from Domino the Destitute has been popping in to my head lately.

I like their old stuff, too, but the guitar distortion and Claudio's voice back then kind of start to bother me after a while. The production / instrumentation / his voice on the last album and this new one are much better, to my ears.

Darkly cool.
This is probably my favorite album of the year. Seriously, this is just fucking amazing.
