What do you do when you just reach a huge block and can't think of anything else for a game? You can't just end it there, but you can't do anything. What do you do to get rid of that blockage?

[offtopic] I just realized I have made a ton of posts today...[/offtopic]

Lavata

I just wait it out. I'm guessing you mean thinking up concepts for a game, along with the storyline and such. If so then I do what I previously mentioned: I wait. I just wait until some inspiration hits me and I get an urge to create something again. For example, I am now working on a fairly cliched game  just to get out some ideas and to have fun.

Just think of a basic concept and build something upon that, making it as complex as you feel it should be or vice-versa.

Halestorm5

I just make another game XD

If I lost my inspiration then, I start another. And once I get a idea for the first game, I do it.

Because of this idea... I'm working on 4 games.... :tpg:

:)

yeah I'm right now working on like 6 different things, so when I get bored of one i switch...so far haven't quit any of the projects since they stay fun.
Watch out for: HaloOfTheSun

Morrowind

Like Lavata. I just wait until I get more ideas.
I also go through other areas of the game to make sure theirs no bugs and everythings working right.
