Help please

I wanna know how to make my map dark, so its like night time for rmxp, putting just tint by itself doesn't work can anyone explain to me what i have to do?

use tint but actually bother changing the colors?
tint id by default fool colors, darg the bars to the left to make it darker and to the right to make it brighter, only 1 of them to make it colored and so on... tinting is simply playing with the colors

If you have photoshop or another foto editing program, read this tut.
Its very helpfull in making night time layers that you can use with the Fog utility.

Well i got the tint set up for when i enter the certian map and when i enter the map my character is frozen, i can get it to work for the common events, but when i try and make it in the new events it doesn't work, it just freeze's me. Anyone know what i am doing wrong. If so can you tell me easy steps on how to fix it. Heres what i put down.

dont erase the event, just make it a parelle event, meaning the it will be like a auto event but u can still walk around and stuff, io hav tested it, it dose work wat i did:)

your event is fine, the reaction of rm is unusual, i think you might have to redownload it as this bug shouldn't happen.
