Example of Work: I am not certain what's deleted and what's not, search around in the ancient troubleshooting forum for my weapon upgrading system, pet system and others of that sort, to put it simple, I'll attempt to put any student from the level of "yeah i know what's a variable and can totally put it in a conditional branch" to the level in which they can make their own mini games, refining systems, ABS and just about everything else that they would usually think only a script can do

Hello, I would be interested in becoming a student, perhaps for eventing and more especially scripting. I do have some eventing experience, but having some help in explaining the different instances and uses of events (like even events, common events etc) would be great.

I would also like to add, while I am a beginner directly in this sense, I do however have quite a few years of experience (including making basic games) in languages such as Visual Basic, Object Pascal (Borland Delphi/DirectX), C/C++ (Dev-CPP) and ASM (Win32ASM) etc.

There's no begginer script teachers if I recall, but you may be able to convince someone else to take you, as long as you post more about your programming background (programmers are each to teach since we don't have to explain things like object oriented, methods, classes, and whatnot).

Well I understand variables, objects etc etc, not too much on classing (i don't use them ever, except one already available etc).

I have written some 2D games using DirectX in C++/Object Pascal, and a few in Visual Basic using Windows GDI, though I primarily make desktop applications.

My personal site chessoscorner.com I think has a couple small delphi programs I made, and the site I made from scratch using programmers notepad (none of that dreamweaver crap) with XHTML/PHP/mySQL/CSS and a bit of Javascript for some tools etc.

That should give a pretty good idea of what I know and can do, though I am a *little* rusty.

There are currently no scripting teachers taking any students.

I must apologise to my two eventing students because I haven't been working with them.  I have been snowed under with work and uni for several months.  Today is my last day, so guys if you still want me to come up with things for you I will get back into it now.  Otherwise you are free to look around for another teacher if you prefer (RMRevolution has eventing lessons that you can join up with - intermediate level I think they are) - can I say that here?
