Unlike the Postality Knights Edition that can be downloaded from here, can the official English Version from Enterbrain's Site use the Day/Night Script and others?

yup
scripts are the same in both
it's event syntax and help files that aren't

oh yeah, and PK can't open Enterbrains files

I'm 60% sure some scripts work in legal and not PK
