They definetly need to make a sequel to Legend of Dragoon! It was better than most of the FF games. I think it was the first game to use action commands. Oh and FF9 is my favorite out of the FF series.

Xenosaga was supposed to be a direct sequel to Xenogears but they couldn't get the liscencing for it so they couldn't.

4. Wild Arms 6

They've milked Wild Arms dry.  Stick to 1 and 2, and forget the rest.

5. A sequel to the Final Fantasy movie Advent Children and Final Fantasy the Last Order 

Final Fantasy 7 didn't deserve a single movie or spinoff, the FF7 spinoff movies certainly don't.
Also, Last Order is the prequel to FF7, so technically, FF7 is the sequel to Last Order.

How about a Chrono Trigger sequel? Chrono Cross, though of the same setting, wasn't really a sequel, and didn't do well to improve on the original in my opinion. I liked how the fighting was done on screen rather than switching to a battle scene in CT. I think it's got some good potential for either a direct sequel, or something that involves the original cast a little more than CC did.
