It would appear that some of the MP3s I import into RPG Maker XP don't play like they should, whereas some do, the files work fine outside of the maker, and fine inside the Audio file when I play them from there, but this is just annoying, it can't be the size as an mp3 twice the size of the mp3s in question plays, I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues involving mp3s and if they had a way of solving it, i've tried re-importing and this doesn't seem to work, my apologies if this has already been asked.

So about that money...
I've seen it happen with Midis but not MP3s.

Anyhow, the reason this happens is because RM XP has a sound prog already in it. And different programs decode audio files in different ways. What you could do is mess with some scripts, which is only a good idea if you can script. OR get a different Mp3 of that song in hopes that RM XP will decode it correctly.

I think the easier thing to do is to find a different mp3 of the song.

Ah, okay, I know a friend with different mp3s of the songs, i'll ask him.

Edit: Ah, my thanks, the different mp3 worked.
