Wow that looks pretty awesome. Im new to the forums and rm2k3 but im now going to make a small test map for myself to see if I know how to do everything. EG: Quests, side-quests, cut-scenes, battles, once I do that I will start on my rpg. I have played many...many rpg's and enjoy them much! Nice looking game, you and your staff keep it up!

Ha, I have alot of custom things, but battle animations isnt one of them.
Sounds good to me Yossy, I'm thinking of having an unlockable feature to be able to see the various artwork for the game.  :^^:

I was thinking of putting an unlockable gallery in Futaiten, but artwork tends to look really horrible after you convert it to an 8-bit png.

But personally the most important thing in a game still is the story line for me.

I do like the story line and it does matter. Like (no offense) Final Fantasy games. Whenever there is a sequel, there is totally new characters, they have nothing to do with the previous game, and its just completely different. But a good story-line example would be Phantasy star series. That has a good story line and all the games in that series link together one way or another. Like the boss of the game in PS1 is a boss in PS4 because his little planet blew up, but a chunk with his castle survived. Phantasy star has one of the best story-lines I have ever played. (By the way I am not saying you have a good or bad story im just stating my opinion). =P

I've been toying with the LoM Panaroma's, And I've been making sure the graphic theme's compliment each other. I've placed this shop in Sirdeka. I testplayed the game where I was in the Kingdom of Sirdeka, and walked into the store. The panorama didnt really stand out as being out of place to me, It actually added to the my scheme. I'm going to show you a screenshot.

I took the screen, while the light effects were taking place, The shops a little rickety, and the lights on the ceiling will somtimes dim.



And then theres the event, with Remiel's old friend Thorador, who seemingly has a suspicious job for Seeo to complete. Its too bad somthing interrupts this briefing.

I think there are all kinds of game series with good stories in which the sequals all relate(Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Legend of Zelda, and hundreds of others)

Awesome panoramas, must be hard to do. But THorador seems to enjoy saying things with unnecessary commas.

Haha, it's true!  No comma necessary after "really."  Sorry to sound persnickety, but one of the things that REALLY turns me away from playing a game is punctuation/grammatical errors.  It gives the impression that the creator isn't a very good writer, leading them to expect a poorly-written story, no matter how nice the graphics are.  You don't want people to think that, do you?

I've also just noticed that Ventus requires a comma after "well," so that it reads: "Well, who hasn't?"  Sion, these aren't the first screens you've shown with punctuation errors.  What you are in need of is an editor.  Please understand that I mean that in the nicest way possible.  If you want people to respect your game, you can't have the dialogue look as if it was written at an elementary level.  Since it's been DragonMagna and I that have been pointing out the typos, why don't you hire us as editors?  Just send either of us a .ZIP of what you have so far, and we'll give it all a look-see, then send you a revised version for you to distribute to the eager masses.  I like to think that you can trust us not to change the dialogue any more than necessary, because I realize that there is a personal aspect in the dialogue, but I just can't stand to see commas missing from everything.  Please think about it.

The message system is different, but not custom at all, really.
The system skin has the left side of the main window being transparent and in the game, he just presses space a couple times so that the text is in the box, not covering the face, which might be a picture, but I don't know. I think its a picture because it would be harder to do with face graphics. Confusing.
