EDIT2: I realize the page in that link could be confusing. You have to enter the number in the box, and then there is the download button right in the middle. I need a better file host!

Plane of Storms is my first serious project in RMXP.

FEATURES:
- A simple ABS (Zelda-like battle system) made WITHOUT ANY SCRIPTING which I am still tweaking and possibly remaking to use the actual stats from the existing battle system.
- A health indication system that works on screen effects as well as a pulsing heatbeat to show damage

ON THE NEXT DEMO:
- More content
- Possible jumping controls (unsure if they will be useful, but what the hell)
- Player can move diagonally
- Possible side-scrolling segment (what I've got now is still WAY too buggy, but it's getting there)

Any help is and will be appreciated.

The game is based on my dreams, and will mostly be an adventure game.
And yes, I did the title graphic.

The background is a photo I edited in Paint Shop Pro [I dont do photoshop]
The text was made with the text tool in the same program.
The little character was an airbrush job.

i've seen people use rapidshare and that seems to be a good file sharer

You don't need the legal version to play it, you jsut need the .dll files.

Meh when is anyone gonna release a demo with more than 4 maps ><

Well i dunno what the fascination is about, let me tell you why heh;

1. Your mapping is awful (no offence)
2. You made a 14mb demo with when you only used one mp3 and the other two were pretty pointless, use midis   , cudda halved my download time ><
3. Using the enter key while moving is pretty hard  :whoa:

The only good thing is the abs, but as i said, the enter key kinda killed it...

Touch up on your mapping, and maybe release some more maps  :whoa:

But as i said upwards, nothing special, and no better than the usual we get here...
