moving event to hero [resolved]

I would like an event to move to a hero no matter where he is....how can i do this? RPGXP

You mean like following them? If you do then just use the caterpillar script in the script database

Do you want to be part of a growing Gaming Community, with many galleries, comics, active community, and gfx artists? Also known to be friendly. Also want some free anime music just for signing up? Play in the arcade?

ok thx :)  seems to keep moving even though i'm not.....back and forth. any way to temporarily stop following?

figured it out: i used variables for event x/y coord and hero x/y coord, when one of them wasn't the same it moved in the same direction hero moved.
is there any way to check if two events are overlapping without vars? or if an event is on a certain type of tile? (like the pile of leaves?)

Touch Hero Precondition would work if it's the hero being touched. Otherwise it's variables.
