what is the difference between official RMXP and Postality 2.0?

other than english comments and help.

and if I get XP official, will I be able to open my old Postality 2.0 made games?

I would think so, but if not I think someone here can convert the game over,,,but im 95% sure you can

With the legal version of RMXP, you could open your projects made through the postality knights edition but you can never go back to postality knights once you open your project using legal RMXP.

Not true. I opened any RMXP project, made by any of the 3 versions and I have used any of the three to open it. *tests again* Yep, I'm right. The only thing to do is to open the... Meh, just read the RMXP FAQ.

It works like this.

Open RMXP game in PK - Doesnt work
Open PK game in RMXP - Possible
Try to open same game with PK after it's been opened with RMXP - Doesnt work

It says "Incompatible versions". What should I do?
Make a new project and replace the Game.rxproj inside the demo with the new one. If you still can't start it, open Game.ini and change RGSS102E.dll to RGSS100J.dll. If it already is RGSS100J.dll, change it to RGSS102E.dll.

And you might need to change the savefile extension from rxdata/sav to sav/rxdata.

yeah I got the english patch thing working
the translations are weird but it works.

still gives me a file extension problem for most games though.
