I can't test play my games or open a new project.

Whenever I try to open a new project or test play one already opened it says "DirectX Audio ?   ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?"

Edit: I searched and how do I re-install my audio driver??

do you have the disks that came with our computer? did you install a new sound device? and waht brand?

I dunno if this would help, but:
Have you tried restarting your computer?  This happens to me all the time, but I just restart and it works fine.

But you probably need to reinstall your sound drivers.
Just find the manual that came with your sound drivers and reinstall it.

This may be a stupid question, but what is a sound driver???

A device driver, or a software driver is a specific type of computer software, typically developed to allow interaction with hardware devices. In this case yours would be audio..
We all have to start somewhere...Use wikipedia for doing research..Great site..
