Downloading RPG makers.

So far I have tried downloading RM2K3 on this site and another. I have also tried downloading RMXP off of this site. Each time I get between 21 and 26 Megabytes of the full download. What could be causing this?

To save you questions, I am using Internet Explorer on a Dial-up connection.
Any help will be appreciated.

I don't exactly know. I myself use internet explorer but Comcast high speed internet. I know how stressful downloading something from dial-up and it not work. Make sure you're not disconnected during the download process.

I know a friend who is dial up and has the same problem. You can download this thing (sorry not sure what  it is) that pauses downloads for IE. Firefox also has it. Dial-up likes to cancel downloads on files at around 20 MB it seems.

i got dialup to, as 10kbps, i downloaded it from there, so yeah try.

Well......thanks for the information.
Nightwolf, www.crankeye.com is the first site I tried. But I am running on 28kbps so, I don't know what the problem is exactly.

I guess I just need to keep trying every night, and maybe it'll eventually work. It sucks though, it's like a 6 hour download

Use the download pauser, it might be that is the problem. It could also be the fact that you might be running out of disk space, but I think you'd have noticed the disk cleanup popups if that happened.

do you use firefox? you can pause and restart whenever you get back on the browser, or find somewhere with highspeed download it, save it.

deadly_diablo, I don't think that I have any kind of download pauser. And, my hard drive is only a 4GB but I don't even have 2GB used up yet.

Nouman, I don't have firefox.....wish I did though lol
The only other place I could download the games would be at the library, and I'd rather not do something "Less than Legal" in public lol
