I wanted to do some actual cooking today, so I decided to try and make this from a recipe:
My dad was a bit skeptical and insisted that it's better to just stick to our normal method of making Chicken Alfredo: boil noodles, microwave (or sometimes sautee) a can of sauce, and mix the chicken with the sauce. It always ends up looking like a nasty white cheese soup. Against his judgement, I went ahead and tried to (mostly...somewhat) follow the recipe! Here is the result:
The picture is much less clear, and not quite as fancy looking. But it tastes a lot better than the old method! ;o; I'm so proud <3 I ended up adding too much noodles, compared to sauce. Luckily, milk and butter saved the day!
The only little issue I had was with the crummy Kroger-brand chicken I picked out, but its weird taste got drowned out by the sauce.
(We need a cooking thread sometime. ;_; )
