Ultimate Warrior (Edited 25.01.07, see page 1) - DEMO V4

At the moment Guyver Bio Storm is on Hold, while I try and get all 26 episodes... Grrr... Got the 1st 12...

But any way here's my new Project... It's only a small game

Based in the East - around 1900

When you first start out you get to choose from what fighting school you want to join and if you want to be male or female... each fighting school will have their own Skills sets... for Example:-

Jeet Kune Do School - Using a Combat style based on offence being the strongest defence - Classes:- Stick Fighter / Boxing / Nun-Chuckers

Primal Rage School - Using Combat styles based on Animals to move fights in your favour - Classes:- Tiger Claw / Mantis / Monkey

Way of the Sword School - Using Stealth and swift movements along with great sword techniques to out class your oppents - Classes:- Samari / Ninjitsu / Kendo

After picking your School you start as a Pupil learn what you can in training classes and missions... free to roam your schools home town and territory... Fights are held amounst your own school and once you have reach the top 4 in your Class you then get challenge letters sent by rival schools... you and the other top members form a party and you have a tournement... Once you win aganist all other schools you become a master... once your a master you can choose your own party from seperate classes amounst your School... and further your training...

Master Classes

Jeet Kune Do School - Classes:- Killer Blows / Weapon Master /Dragon Summoning

Primal Rage School - Classes:- Crane / Snake / Beast Summoning

Way of the Sword School - Classes:- Master Swords Men / Assasin / Iron Warrior Summoning

Once you have beaten all masters of each school then you can control all schools and all classes... and at around this time is when your country is attacked by the Western world in 1912 approx (Not basing any of this on our history, just using it to give you an idea of what i am going to do)

You then have a Party open to you of the best 4 fighters (inc your-self) and then you take on all challengers... The aim of the game is to get as strong as you can... and get as large a school as you can before the indervers take over your land...

You have a Respect Level... and thts geared around the amount of fights you win or missions you complete... You can then compare your respect level against friends to see who is the ultimate fighter...

I will try and make this game open ended so it never really ends... but I will add an Ultimate fightering party in there... (My own Ultimate party) and if you beat them it will give you the credits and an ending... But I will add a save point right before you fight em... so you can carry on playing and gaining respect... But in the end Invaders with Guns (BIG Guns) will turn up, and I doubt you will be able to earn much respect after that... Beating up people on a lower EXP point will lower respect eventually... IE repeatly battering the same oppents will do you no good say after the 3rd time....

I may add a Secret School... and Energy Based School... Ki... and call it the Turtle School... (Dragonball Z style) and the master may be Goten

Any Tile sets, items, Backdrops etc... that you guys think may help me, please share...

Here's the latest Screen Shots and links to Music files I have made... The tile sets I found on Phanx (Or some thing like that, and I made simple edits, making shaded walls, and a bridge etc...)

The Char Sets are not the ones I will use in game... just test sprites... The ones I will have, each school will have their own colour scheme and each Skill area will have a different look to them...





The Music I madde using EJay... and once in the game if slowed down it sounds very Jap like...

When you enrole to the way of the sword school you chhose your base type, Samari / Ninjitsu / Bushido and that gives you the choice of Char:-

Then there are 3 other members (around Level 10)

I have made a Title Screen- I used a Background By http://www.2advanced.com and changed it a fair bit, removed some of the BG, Sucked it in a little smaller, removed a Bloke and added a Samauri... Tinited it green from pink... But Credit to them and their site it kicks Arse...


And I have made a New Window Skin

so, far it looks really cool. But can we get at least one screenshot to absolutly make sure you are starting this game

I have not started yet... and see no point in starting until I have the tile set I want... Else its not gunna look very Jap like...LOL

But you can see my other titles I have worked on... Search for Guyver Bio Storm and Entrusted Vengence.... Granted I have not finished em...  But I have released a Demo of Entrusted Vengence (But its too big and has too many spelling errors to put right)

I want to make this Title Ulitmate Fighter to show how my RPG making skills have bettered from Entrusted Vengence... and I want to use any new skills I may get in making this title in my new Title Guyver (Guyver as I mentioned is on Hold)

Will do that.

I was hoping this topic was based on the television series.

Anyway, swords will rule the school big time, looks good like your other two projects, I'm looking forward to it

Nice char sets, but wouldn't different uniforms for males work better? No offense here just a suggestion from my experience from games with schools

Male and Female Karate Suites look identical in life...

The sword clan suites will be different, Samauria's tend to differ... (Going by the Manga Toon Ninja Scroll) - But Green not blue and red...

The Primal Rage School will be Brown versions of the Grappler suite

Inside of a Jap Bedroom would be cool, I have to do the sleeping quaters soon

Bump - New stuff on the 1st page, all my Samauri Char sets are up...

Oh and here's some thing those of you that came to this page first, my edit of a tile set (added a bridge and dark walled area's)

Recent Update done today to the 1st Page... All the Char sets for the schools are done... Now to build the rest of the game...

While the mapping seems good, id just like to say that the storyline is a little bland, I relize tat the game isint meant to have an in depth story, but you do need some more depth to your charecters.

Ah... there will be many times your crew will come face to face with another... and there will many "Ha My Kung Fu beats your Kung Fu" type situations... Also 0ne of the mebers in the Jeet Kune Do School has a sister in the Way of the Sword School... There will also be lost Masters that have gone up in the mounatians (The mountains will have multiple floors, each harder than the next)... Will you be able to make your way to the top... Will you find the lost Grand Masters...Blah Blah Blah...

There will be missions, and large towns... The stories will be more Kung Fu Group orintated rather than actual Char Based stories... Lendendary Warriors from your school in times past and so on...

Proper Bargin Bin Kung-Fu style of game...

wow...the mapping looks GREAT! major props on the maps!

Cheers for that... The Tile sets I have been given links to are pretty sweet... Once I have Done all the blocking path's I will release a Game folder with them in along with a Working Catapillar Script (If a member dies, the go from the line)... A good level up script and a Message window script...
