With this game it is not so much about the story, it is more about what YOU want to do. There are many things you can do, with repercussions to what you do.
COMPLETE features
1 continent, 1 mansion (not complete yet), 48 quests (10 main quests, 34 side quests, 4 random date quests, each can be done with 3 people), 9 puzzle rooms, 3 guilds, 1 village, 1 town, 1 port, 6 side areas (pond, north woods, well, cemetery, bridge, flower field), 1 shrine, 1 egg mine, 2 earth caves, 1 farm, 5 dreams.
- Free form game where you start off the game by selecting the character's classes. The real game only has it where you can select their look.
- Birth signs. When you select your character's look, class and assign the character's name you will also get to pick from one of 16 birth signs. The signs are broken into four catagories, strength, magic, stealth and diplomatic, each sign gives that character skills or improved stats to start the game with.
- Beastiary. Fight anything and it gets put into the Beastiary. The beastiary lists stats, weaknesses, strengths, what the enemy drops and so on.
- Traveling merchants! On the go there is a slight chance that you will run into a traveling merchant to save your hyde.
- Character Train! Lead your front character and watch the other ones follow!
- Ring menu. Just to be different, the menu is now in a circle shape ala Secret of Mana!
- Guild of Thieves. A series of more stealthy and clever quests to complete
- Lock Picking! Have a door that you need to get through? You can pick the lock if you have the right tools and know how! Each door is given a stat and if your tools are better than the door's stat then you can open the door and get through!
- Pick Pocketing. You can learn the talent to steal from NPCs. Your talent increases for successful steals. Each NPC has a stat from which they can be stolen from. If your stat is higher than theirs, then you can successfully steal from them! If you are not successful the bounty on your head increases!
- Puzzle hunting hints. There is a member of the guild of thieves that will give you hints on completing the puzzle rooms throughout the game.
- Class tomes. In order to change your classes you need them. There are also strange objects that can change a character's entire being!
- More alchemy and cooking combinations! New mixtures to learn.
- More spells, equipment and items!
- So far the game is 6 hours if you just breeze through it knowing where everything is and that is not even with all of the side quests.

Demo #2 features
- More types of quests, to switch up the gameplay. (Stealth quests, killing quests, surivival quests, timed quests, avoid the flames in a burning building, dates, puzzles, dance dance revolution, cooking, finding).
- Dating system. Far more advanced and fun than the original MAIA2K3. You are given a random quest with random consiquences. Pick flowers, pick mushrooms, dance and go out to eat. The NPC selects the flower you both will pick, what to eat, or where to go dance. Fail the date, keep her out too late, die or let her die, and it will cost you.
- Dance Dance! There was one Dance quest originally now there are random date quests that have dancing along with two places to dance. Keep up or get laughed at and maybe even fail the date.
- A more advanced cooking system with recipes.
- Learn a recipe, collect the ingreedients and make the food. You can also fry fish as you could in the first demo.
- Alchemy (it is quite useful). Like the recipes you are taught ways to make various things. You must have a meal grinder and a ceramic bowl at least as the basis to make things with.
- Escape scrolls. Fight a tough series of monsters and cannot run? Use escape scrolls (unless its a boss).
- Exit scrolls. Do not feel like walking out of somewhere? Just use an exit scroll!
- New Characters (see characters section of the post).
- So far the game is 2 hours if you just breeze through it knowing where everything is and that is not even with all of the side quests.

Demo #1 featured
- Day and night system with 7 periods of time and 24 hours accounted for
- A clock system keeps track of what period of time it is
- Advanced weather system. Each region has its own weather patterns.
- A dream system that takes the player to strange places. The system is based on who is in the party and what they have accomplished.
- There is a torch system incase night or a cave gets too dark to see.
- With Inns you do not just get to rent a room and get healed, you get to use the room and sleep there!
- Churches now serve a purpose. They can revive the dead!
- Disguises! This allows you to customize the main characters once you find the disguises in the third main quest.
- There are less customizable disguises like hiding in a tall box to avoid guards. They cannot kill you if they cannot find you.
- There is a DDR side quest that requires you to mirror the movements of your dance partner exactly as your partner does them.
- There are fishing games of chance where you use bait to catch fish. The bigger the bait, the greater the fish.
- Once you have caught the fish you can use a frying pan and a heat source to cook them into something that can be used to restore health and spell points (aside from the normal potions and herbs you can buy at item shops).
- There is a bounty system that is one of the key features. NPCs react to the level of bounty you have on your head.
- With the bounty, the player can either pay it off as a fine, go to prison or get attacked by the guards, depending on the level of the bounty.
- Murder of a citizen is a flat fine of 1000 gold. Murder of a guard is a flat 5000 gold. Murder of a noble or elected official is 100,000.
- Trabble (town random babble). Instead of hearing the same thing over and over from NPCs. It is randomized based on the area and job the NPC has.
- There is a guild system too with additional side quests.
- So far there are only two guilds. Guild of Fighters and Guild of Mages.
- Outside of using the guilds for side quests they have their benefits of members only shops and sleeping quarters.
- Aside from the main quest there are side quests that do not pertain to the guilds.
- Then aside from side quests there are puzzle rooms to complete for fun and treasure!
- So far the game is 80 minutes if you just breeze through it knowing where everything is.
