EVENT HAPPEN ONCE

I know this is common but how do i get an event to happen once? Short, easy and brief please.

well if you want to do the thing you could erase event....but that will make the grapchi go so after erase put the graphic again lol

an erase event, or u can just make it so the event only runs when a variable equals, say, 0, then change the variable to 1.

or use a switch.  that works too.
