Cant understand maps for rpg2k3

ok, so i start making a map, then i make a town map, but when i go back to the world map my volcano and castle have turned into crosses and spires. and i cant change them back into what they were! wtf!

Make a new map for the town, and change the first chipset's map back to what it was before you made the town.

Don't replace the maps in your database, make new ones.
