How do u use frames

im making a comp virus defend game and i need to know how to use frames

For those who know me for my zelda RPG this is just a Mini-game

Well a frame is actually a sort of window that surrounds the game.

i know and on the desktop that frame will be on so Like if i go down to that spot i make a switch say Log off :stay on : shortcuts : then extras later in game

okay i know how to use frames but what size do they have to be
