The stuff being easy to obtain, is only easy for Lufia... Now this may sound a little 60's but I was thinking Girls would choose to play as Lufia, so I tried to make it a little more fun, a little easyer and added more puzzles rather than battles... Lufia is more of a thinker than a fighter... The objects your obtaining now may be easy to get, but there not much help to Lufia... Lufia's quests etc are puzzle based so it does not make a difference if she has a good sword or not... Lufia also has the worst Defence, you need items to help her dodge attacks, so be care-ful what you equipe her with, they may slow her down...

Edit: also, a lot of the stuff you have to do doesn't really have any reason behind, you just do it cuz some guy said to...

I only played with one character so far, and really, it's a great start for a game.  I only have one request: please add a little diversity to the music selections.  All up-beat, heavy tunes, all the time, is a little draining for me.

One suggestion...stick to one game! If you switch all the time you'll never finish any.

Even IF you finish all your games, they won´t be very good. The best is to put some serious effort into one game instead of putting some effort into many games. =/ I speak out of experience.

Haha. I wouldn't go so far as to call it my own.
I just like messing around with things other people have started on, just to see if I can make it turn out much different than them. I'm no good at starting my own projects.

I think I may re-start making this title... But change it a little...

IE when you start, you choose your, Sex, then Class - Lancer, Warrior, Mage, Cleric etc...

Then choose say one of 4 Battler images for that Char, then name them...

Have recruiting area's to find more members for your party... etc...

Not sure... I am going to be more serious though... so don't expect the game any time soon... some of the old maps from the first outing may make an appearence...

I played about 10 minutes into it. Note to self: bring more food :-) I will play it again oce I get back to something faster than my laptop.

I like the design it reminds me of Final Fantasy Leged. Everything is fun so far and not extremely drawn out like some RPGs.

Yes I agree with nouman, your mapping seems very good. You and nouman both seem to be extreamly good with mapping.

I have played through 2 of the stories so far, Lufia and Luke. With both I reached a point that could not be continued. I cannot seem to find the boat in Lufia's quest so I am assuming that is the point that you got to. I did enjoy Lufia's quest, but I found a few errors, like if you stay at the Inn the new characters always appear. I also felt that in Lufia's quest everything was given to you as opposed to working and buying things.

With your mapping. The inside of buildings are absolutely huge, while the outside of the same buildings are quite tiny.

I did enjoy the tie in with Coug the armor restorer and Lufia's old armor. I get a good sense of Dragon Warrior 4 from this game, where each character has their own stories, and then they meet up later. Plus the fighting arena is another tip of DW4ism.

In all I have played 40 minuts, 20 with each of the 2 characters I played and it has been legitimately fun and differently challenging with each character.

To get the boat on Lufia's story go north when you start, go in the hotel talk to the inn keeper he will give you enough money to sleep the night, add new party members... then go north of the town, and get 500G from the chest, go to the market buy the bag of marbles, go south kill some monsters at the base of the water area, the little red ones... get some cash, but some Oreale Feed from the chick by the bridge, feed the Big Winged creatures (Oreales) Buy loads of feed say 10... then head south to the cave by the beach, go in the cave give the marbles back to Ridik, return to the village, talk to ridik and his wife, a door to the right of the town will open, you train with the OLD warriors, talk to ridik again, he will say the boat is at the coast line, head south again to the cave and carry on south you should see the boat... LUFIA story completed... you can then go Monster Island or the Main Land... Lufia is the easyest of Chars to play through with...
