Trying to use a picture in my game. (RPG Maker 2003)

Every time I try to use this picture:



It either says invalid colour depth or it just won't work. Every single time I use a picture in RPG Maker 2003 this happens. Please can you help me! I really need these pictures to finish my intro that I went back to. I will really, really, REALLY appreciate help.

If you're saving the picture as a .bmp, try saving it at a different color-bit whatever. I think it has to be 256-bit, but I'm not sure.

If you dont want the colour to go when you save as a 256 colour use a programme called ifranview its VERY handy
