Oh, I didn't realize there was a difference.  Why wouldn't it work on an older version though?  A picture is a picture right?  Just wondering...

no, the reason it wouldnt work is because the RMXP battle system uses pictures as battlers, while the RM2K3 battle system is side-view and uses actuall sprites

So should I make him a sprite or does it use the little chars for that.

PS.  That's a much better system than the front view in my opinion, any way to bring the side view back in xp, and does it need scripting?

Charas.NET's Battle Charset generator is the solver of all problems.
