how to use weapons

How do you use weapons outside of battle(like in zelda) agianst enemies?

Its called an active battle system theres tons on rmxp.net but not the kind I want so I havnt got one for myself yet (Like I'll ever use it) anyways check there and if u want it for events like if u click on a door it explodes just put it to were wen u touch it it plays se then it shows animation then make a self switch a new page then make it check if the self switch is on and ur done
almost forgot on the second page change the graphic also
