Steal Skill via Events

So I have the steal skill set up and it works, but I want to make it so that it only steals from a single enemy rather than the entire enemy party. Would it be possible to do this without a script?

I don't know if the same event commands are available in MV, but maybe you can use the method that I used to make this Demi skill to do it?
