Hide Weather by Tileset ID

Introduction :
This script allow you to automatically hide the weather sprites when player entered map with specified tileset id. For example, tileset ID for Indoor by default is 3 (interior) and 4 (dungeon).

Features :

  • Hide weather sprite when entering specified tileset ID
  • The dimness still remain

The weather is gone when you entered an interior

How to use:
All you need is puts this script below material but above main. And edit the little configuration if neccessary.

I love how applicable this is. Simplicity (and, of course, configuration in many cases) is the best thing you can have in scripts.

Only useful with a random/automatic weather script, though, as otherwise you could just use events...

Aye, but using events for that purpose is very tedious and can often lead to consistency mistakes if you aren't careful. This script generalises the process so you only have to do one thing for each interior map and that's it.

This script is supposed to be a support for random weather system. And aimed for anyone who's lazy (such as myself) to do same thing in maps. Actually, this was my personal devtool. But, finally I dedicated to share :D

Thank you for posting this. Really, not only is this script neat, it should have been in RPG maker from the start. Awesome scripters like you coming along and adding features like this. Come on Enterascii Bran, what are you even doing?
