[2k3] Requesting mappers!

So yes, in order to help speed up production of Touhou Fantasy, I am looking for anyone who is proficient in mapping and can work well in RPG Maker 2k3 for help in this field. I am slowly working on it myself, but at this rate the game won't be done for another 5 years and I would like to get this done eventually. Anyone interested, please feel free to either post here or PM me.

For those interested, here are what needs to be done:

*Revamping old dungeons (this only really applies to 2 beta1 dungeons).
*Mapping new dungeons (this accounts for about 30 dungeons. Yes, you read that right. There is a lot of content in the game yet to be done. For more details, feel free to ask about it either here or in PM).


I hope to see someone step up to help on this, if they are not too busy with their own project, that is. ^^;; If you require to see screenshots of the current maps I have (or current dungeons), I can post them here.

Might seem like a bit of a pointless post, but I would be interested in helping out if I could get myself 2k3. Unfortunately, this probably won't happen for a while yet, I only have VXA, but if you're still struggling for people in the near future and I can get my hands on it, I'd be willing to try my hand at helping out!

Ah, well then! Let me look into it then! If I recall, Touhou Fantasy is one up here somewhere with a 1GB demo download or something? I was going to download it and try, but my internet can't handle that sort of stress at the moment. Unless I'm thinking of something else. I'll look into 2K3 and see how it all goes, I'll keep in touch.

Edit: I don't think the project is the one I was thinking of, but this does look familiar. I'll try and download it when I get the chance.

It is pretty big. I did recently reupload it though (game files are separate from the music, music is split into vanilla and extended. Extended is what it was ORIGINALLY, but if you get that, you'd have to get the vanilla version too). I'm still debating on what to cut out for music to make it much smaller.


Mind if I see how your mapping is in VXA, if you have any screenshots or whatnot?

Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots, and my good game projects I've done recently aren't on my computer because the hard drive recently died. As I might have mentioned before, my internet isn't really on top form right now so I can't be downloading anything to make screenshots and stuff. Sorry I can't be a little more straightforward with this, haha!

I was planning on getting into parallax mapping because standard mapping in RPG Maker was beginning to annoy me    as I couldn't be as meticulous with details as I'd like, so that's an option if you want to hire me and stuff, haha!

Well, I suppose the only way to know for sure how you'll do is to try some mapping in it itself once you can do so~ Those screenshots look pretty nice though.

The screenshots for the thread aren't that great in my opinion, but yeah, I'll download everything when I'm somewhere with decent interwebz then hit you up again!
