Recruit Any Enemy? (RPG Maker 2003)

Can I make it so that the player can recruit any enemy (people, monsters, bosses) in RPG Maker 2003? Is this possible?
(I looked over the forum descriptions, and I think this is the right board but i'm not sure).
I'm a bit new to this, and am willing to learn, and will read any tutorials.


Edit: Also, if its better just to switch programs I can do that too.

If you want to do anything really advanced, I'd suggest switching over to XP or VX Ace
