S'all good.  Hope you enjoy it when you do get around to trying it out, have been doing what I can to make it as exciting as possible, and have a lot planned for the next chapter too!  Progress is coming along quickly ^^

Also, small update post on the blog about the next area and a wee screeny to go with it :)

Been trying the Demo for a while now. And since my comp seems to be awfully slow so does the game... No worries!!

Though, I've seen some text-bugs being text being cut of at the end. Mostly at the end of battles, might want to check that out.

For the rest of it, no errors found so far.
Just one remark! Burnt trees on the brown land are bugging me as I wanted to walk forward and tried for about 5 seconds before I realised there was a tree! Thought it was an invisible barrier (but may be cause I'm blonde)  :-[

You may also want to say something about "up North" when you just jumped of the bridge and slow down the imperial guys a bit as it is rather difficult to lose one if you fled from him..

Not an update as much as requesting some feedback via polls, which I'd appreciate taking a minute to fill them in (there's only two ;) ), but have also left some screenies and plans for what's to be expected in the next chapter.  The city's and quests so far are lookin' good.

Are you excited?  I'm excited! :)

I'm not sure what the problem was with the trees.  I'll have a look at it again, but on my screen they all showed up as pretty noticeably different colours.  The text cutting off is a total bitch I have to say, I try to preview every box I type but some just slip through the cracks when I'm going through a lot of dialogue at once :(

Added a new video trailer for the game, for anyone wanting to get a glimpse of what the game might look like without needing to dive into the demo straight away.
Am working on Chapter Two content now and currently building up a puzzle dungeon that's based around being lost and trapped in the dark!  Scary stuff!  Hope you're all lookin' forward to it. 

Oh, and if you've not been on the site yet, there's a couple of polls that I'm looking for responses for to get some feedback so I know I'm going in the right directions :)

I'm going back and retroactively converting the game to ABS, as I feel this suits the playstyle of the game and story much more, and after testing the first two levels with the changes, I'm pretty confident that it's a vast improvement upon the current demo.  I'll be re-releasing the screenies, video and demo once I'm caught back up (again!) to Chapter Two.  This at least shouldn't take too long since I'm able to copy a lot of content directly across.

Taking a short break from DotI for a week or two while I do some work on mini-projects and work on some learning new stuff and stirring up my creative juices.  There's already mini-project completed (a wee dungeon crawler) and I'm already working on a non-combat game for the first time.  Come check it out, I could use all the support I can get for this, but will be back to DotI soon! :)

Just givin' this a wee bump.  Am split between Colonist and this, but still working.  Got a lot going on for Chapter Two so far and is taking a while to decide what to do for everything.  Still have to come up with some filler content for the city, as well as any extra ways to excitify the Dungeons (since there's three of them) and making sure they're all balanced well, as they can be done in any order.  Either way, it's coming along well!

Have got two more dungeons built up now and am just adding the second subsection to chapter 2 and refining the dungeons, as well as polishing off the city.  The graphics/mapping is starting to get a bit lazy, as I'm running out of tilesets and with two projects on the go, I can't afford to keep running around looking for unique tiles and music etc for every map in each game right now (there are plans to accomodate for this in the future though, but for now it's just going to have to be dealt with, unfortunately).  Of course, have plenty of optional side-story involved, and have made sure all the side missions are optional, however they're recommended as the final dungeon is nails; I'm still trying to balance it out, as I just got my ass kicked by the boss!

Also, after having seen Peter Molydeuxs twitter and have been readin' it, have got myself a wee account there for spitting out my plans for either game without going on and making some huge post (like this) for every single update. Seems like the purpose of the thing and I could definitely use something that's designed for smaller bits of info.
