Seriously. What the fuck?

Imageshack is sometimes very quick to delete things that border on teh pronz. Photobucket decreases image quality and removes things that border on teh pronz. And lastly, Bayimg isn't always compatible with [img] tags and they decrease image quality even more. Which is the worst thing you can do as an image host. I'm not referring to resizing. But the process of decreasing the amount of kilobytes of data in the image. This is not acceptable, ever. But then along came imgur, which I believe one of you suggested to me in a previous thread that was quite similar to this one.

I thought I finally found the one. The perfect image uploading site. But no. Now I find out THEY also decrease image quality! And that's no good! You do not fuck with the original artwork. You're supposed to leave it in its intended entirety so there's no loss of data as you share it with people! Decreasing the image quality in any way whatsoever is a big fat no-no. It's an absolute deal-breaker for me. If it's not the exact same quality after I upload it, then your site isn't good enough for me. Period. I thought I left that shit behind when I stopped using photobucket. They decrease the amount of data in the images to such a degree, that I can actually notice a difference just by looking. Imgur does it to a much smaller degree. I only noticed it when their data reduction process caused a serious glitch in one of the images I uploaded. (Essentially it created a strange black rectangle behind the artists' signature.) But now that I know they do this, I cannot use imgur anymore either. I know I'm asking for a lot, but the internet is a kajillion pages big. I shouldn't need to look this hard to find the kind of site that fits my needs. I find it extremely hard to believe that there isn't a single decent image uploading site at least somewhere out there. It's like being dehydrated in the middle of a freshwater lake.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzVmPsqHDDQ" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzVmPsqHDDQ</a>

I simply cannot accept that this is the best there is. There MUST be a good one somewhere out there. Please people, if you have any knowledge of anything decent, tell me where it is. Here are my criteria:

-It has to allow porn, or at least look the other way in the presence of it. Yet, it cannot look like a porn image site. (As in, please none of those websites that look like they were designed in MSPaint and covered in pictures of ugly amateur stuff on the front page. I never trust sites like this because they look like they're just dying to give me a virus.) I'm not planning to upload actual porn, but a lot of the stuff I do upload is debatabley porn. And I often lose that debate.

-It has to be compatible with [img] tags. Reliably so.

-It must absolutely never, under any circumstances, decrease image quality by the slightest. The amount of kilobytes the image has when I download the image from the site, must match the amount of kilobytes the image had when I uploaded it to the site.

Please, if you know of an image host that fits my criteria, would you kindly suggest it? I'm at my wits end here.

If you're so picky, then why don't you pay for hosting?
I'm much too lazy to put an actual signature here.

I've never used them before I did a Google search for them, but the uploaded copy and the master copy have the same MD5 hash, so there has been no reduction in size. They even have an explicit option for adult content.

I use my Dropbox.  Hotlink it from there, and there is no loss.

DropBox works too, just make sure that images you link from it fit the site AUP :

Alrighty Exhydra, you're on! Let's put it to the test.
-Uploaded sexy picture of Haruhi.
-Image from my computer pings 276 kilobytes.
-Uploads to here: http://postimage.org/image/267z56n7o/
-Downloaded image contains 276 kilobytes of data.
Haruhi's big round ass shines like a polished apple. Now for the final test:
Spoiler for:

Aaaaaand... perfectly [img] code-compatible.
I do believe we have a winner! Congratulations Exhydra, the title belt goes to you!

Don't let this discourage further contestants though. I gotta keep a contingency plan. And another plan to back up that one. So I think I'll try out this DropBox thing you suggested ForeverZero. Though I'm a little worried. "Indecent" and "advocate hatred" are subjective concepts. Let's just hope they don't spend much time checking up on things.

Basically, a file sharing site. It's pretty clean, straight forward and easy to use. I've been using it for things that I don't want to drop onto my hosted site.

Just use dropbox. Forget hosting sites altogether.

I don't think they give too much of a shit to what you're sharing, either. I've had full albums on mine for years.

fear me...
I always use deviantart to host my artwork... And Photobucket to upload things I don't make...

it doesn't have automatic tags, like most image hosting sites, but it does host your images and lets you post anything as long as there's not insertion...
Ok, DON'T EXPECT HELP FROM ME~! I will perhaps rant a bit, but don't expect me to do graphics for you, even if I say I will... I won't.
