Skill troubles...

Hello, I am very new to the RPG Maker VX program, and my only past experience was with Super RPG Maker (SNES), which I played for a few seconds before the cartridge... malfunctioned... Anyway, I can't seem to get a skill to work. I am trying to create a skill that summons an animation. I have the entire animation, itself, set up, as well as the Skill itself, yet for some reason, it is always grayed out in the battle menu. It has been driving me crazy. If you need a demo or something to see my problem, I can whip one up. Thanks!

Maybe you set its MP cost too high? Or maybe you set the Occasion to Never or Only from Menu?
