So you like the atmosphere and the story? Read a book/watch a movie.
:V
RPG = Role Playing Game. Assumption is that there is a story for said role playing.

I play my RPGs mainly for the story, because gameplay isn't the most important thing in a RPG.

And besides, you can't get the same story from books and/or movies. It's reading and watching the Dead Space books/movies without playing the games. You miss a huge chuck of the story.

Sophist

The :V face means he's being sarcastic, no need to get up in arms.

from the infinite fields of dreamless sleep

I have never seen :V express sarcasm. I thought it was just a pacman face. Oh well then.

:V .  .  .  .  .  .

I was being sarcastic, but its ridiculous to say that anything is more important in a game than gameplay.

Dwarra?

Oh boy that was a disappointing ending, feels like they just ended the game at the end of a chapter so they could add more DLC. (Probably the truth)

I suffer through bad games if the story is good enough, ergo story>gameplay, at least for me

Omiekins

I thought the first one sucked, so I never felt interest in the sequel.  The women also looked like heroine addicts.

That's a waste of time.

Kokowam

Games are made for gameplay while stories are made for the story. hurrr. That isn't to say a game can't have a story and a story can't be interactive.

hiromu656

I take back what I said, it sucks.

I think number 2 is way better the battles seem more fast paced and intense from the first one I remember with my 2-handed dwarf in dragon age 1 being bored during the fights and they seemed to just drag on forever I actually never even finished it because the farther I got the slower the battles went.

but then again I played dragon age one for  PlayStation 3 and I got dragon age 2 on the PC lol maybe that's why I like it more

I couldn't let this topic just go by me lol with starting post like that I had to get my 2 cents in here

If you want people here to take you seriously, you should use punctuation and grammar.
