RPG Maker VX Importing Characters?

    • I found a site with loads of character sets, but all their backgrounds are black, and when I upload them onto RPG Maker VX, and use them, they have a black background, so is there a way to make the black background transparent or how to get the right background?

    • When importing, left click on the background.

    Otherwise, just open it up in Paint.NET or Photoshop or whatever and set a transparent bg,

    • Thanks, that didn't work before strangely.

    I had to set the backgrounds to white, then left click when importing. Thanks again :D

    • I seem to remember RPG Maker 2000 having a problem with black, not being able to make it transparent. Maybe VX is the same. It's because "black" is the colour they use for "no transparency" (try it - import an image with black in it and set it to no transparency, the black will turn transparent! did for me anyway. Long time ago mind.)
