Hey everyone. There's a small issue I'm having with this script. It's nothing major I don't think but I think someone could help cause I have absolutely no scripting experience at all to be able to fix it.

I've noticed in the Demo "Chronicles of Sir Lag-a-Lot" that when the party leader uses an item on himself, it displays the hit animation. I'm using the most recent version of Blizz Abs (2.8) and I've tested it out and the hit animation doesn't play on the leader. The animation works if I used the item on someone else, just not on myself. However, if one of my party members use an item on the party leader, it works. I'm not so sure but I'm thinking that when someone uses an item on themself, that the hit animation wont play. I'm not so sure when it comes to the other party members using items on themselves or if it's just a party leader thing. If anyone can help, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

btw, I'm using caterpillar. Not sure if that does anything.

I experience a similar strange event with Mr. Mos ABS. I'm going to guess the refresh that tells the battler what sprite animation to load, isn't loading. You may wish to look at the script and search for the animation by name. I could never get Blizz's stuff to work right 'cause I suck.

you may wish to post a direct link to the demo because Blizzard writes a lot of stuff.

I suck really bad at scripting so i probably wouldn't know where to look in the first place. i've already sent Blizz a message asking for help about a couple of things. I just have to sit and hope for a reply.

So you have the script and yet you don't know how to find the script? So it just magically appeared on your computer somehow without your knowledge? Either ... you're a moron, or you're rather happy with getting a very slow response for your issue.

I don't think that's entirely their fault. The internet instructions on Youtube basically walk people through the download, the copy paste, and then leave them high and dry, like an overseas platoon with no training.

And I was talking about the link to the script. From what you're saying, the video walks you through that part. Which, again, is odd how he's not sure how he could find the link to share with us so that we can accurately view the script he's having issues with.

I agree. I think what you were looking at though is where did the source script come from - while it's possible he didn't find that either, I was trying to figure out why someone would tackle a blizzard script and not know how to ctrl+shft+F something in script editor. Either way, this is what I was worried he was doing:

I know how to install scripts on to my computer. It's not like it just magically appered onto my system. All  I was saying was that I don't know how to fix these things within the script itself. I've used the control+F feature and tried to find where it plays any kind of animation. It's really not my fault if I don't know much about scripts. I try to understand how they work, I honestly don't know very much but I'm definitely not stupid. I can comprehend scripts up to a certian point and configure them as the directions say. I posted this topic because I wanted some help on this script, not to be disrespected.

Well, it sounds like something that wouldn't be difficult to fix, but I don't really have the time currently to look through the script. I would suggest that you ask the author of the script at his forum: http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php/topic,106.0.html

If he can't help, come back here and I will take a look when I find the time.

Hey thanks. I really appreciate that. I'll go post on chaos project and see if I can't get some help there too.
